Verified Reviewer |Necklace provided was terrible
For reasons I am not aware of, our school decided to go with Prestige Photography instead of the one they have used for years. Based on the timing of when we were told what company will handle the senior pictures, all photo shoots had to occur during school with just the yearbook picture and no actual photo shoot with wardrobe changes.
Because of this, parents did not attend the session which was scheduled in 10-15 minute increments. The photographer provided a necklace that did not flow well and did not note this observation to my daughter during the session. This showed in the proofs and the necklace looked like it had been stored balled up. Although I should not have been required to pay, I requested custom retouching for the necklace to be corrected.
When the portraits were delivered, there was no change. I had to again pay a fee, in this case for the return shipping fee. I spoke to customer service about the issue with the necklace and was told the necklace could be photoshopped. Again, the pictures delivered still looked the same.
In my view, they simply placed my returned pictures in a new envelope and sent them back to me. I dont have good quality pictures and am being told that the fix to the necklace is unsuccessful and I will have to return them and get a refund. My daughter does not plan to retake pictures so I dont know what we will do now. What professional photography business cannot photoshop???
Im upset because the photographer could clearly see there was an issue with the necklace and had he/she mentioned it to my daughter, she could have worn the necklace I sent with her to the photo session and we wouldnt have this issue at all. Highly disappointed!
Deceptive company, price gouging.
Deceptive company. They make you sign up for a session and pay a session fee up front.
Luckily I signed up for the shoot but opted to pay on the day of the shoot. There was no way to find out what the final package prices were going to be. No price lists available. I later found out that to get the yearbook photo, you don't have to pay a fee, and they will let you do the session any way for free.
No mention of this option anywhere. I finally heard from the company about the proofs and got the package prices. I was shocked and pissed off. Furthermore, I was only able to afford to purchase one 8x10 for $80.
The cheapest session with no 8x10 and 1 Pose
4-Wallets
1-4x5
1-5x7 for $209 plus tax and shipping. To add on a 8x10, the total came to $290. I'm just thankful that I didn't pay them for the session fee.
Also, the longer you hold out to order, the bigger the discount options get. Don't fall for their vague website and fraudulent business model when you sign up.
- Photo quality is good

Grad Photos
I ordered my sons graduation photos, and the photos are dark, they are ... okay...
expensive too but I am willing to pay. The issue is the digitals were sent on a CD. I have 5 laptops in my office (one is 10 years old), and a tower upstairs. None have CD drives.
Sending the digitals on a CD is like sending them on a floppy disk. I reached out to the company to see if they could share them with me "digitally" via the cloud. The answer was no, and to go find a library or somewhere that has a CD drive and ask them to transfer the digitals to a USB stick (which honestly, is also somewhat old school as most laptops don't have USB ports any more). So I have no digital copies and need to go on an inconvenient adventure figuring out how to get the digitals through some other service or via added expense (maybe you can purchase old-school CD drives?
So... frustrating...Avoid this company if possible.
- Conveniently organized by the school
- With no way to access them
- Digitals provided on old tech cd
Just to make people aware getting in touch with a live person at Prestige for assistance is not as easy as it seems.

Verified Reviewer |Pics were awful. Full of dark shadows. Super expensive. No photos for us .
Preferred solution: It’s to late. I get no pic of my senior because our school picked them. I will not pay that outrageous price for pics that are so horribly taken. It’s your job to do it right. You could see the pic immediately. What’s the problem.
User's recommendation: Tell your school NO.
Only one word. Ripoff.

They basically stole my deposit
First scheduling the senior school portrait was not easy, and I work in the tech field. It forced me to choose a pose package, cheapest was $20.
So I did. Kid gets to school for the photo they say oh, this is just the one pose and that's not needed, it will subtract for the cost of ordering pictures.
I get the proofs in the mail, they instruct me to order online and references my $20 deposit. I order only (don't even get me started on the prices, which have significant increased since my last senior two years ago) however, it didn't take the $20 off. Admittedly I should have remembered the deposit and reached out before placing my order.
So I chat to ask about a refund. They first say I have to return the proofs. Which I replied and said no where on the mailed info does it mention anything about returning them. Then they tell me to get the $20 deposit deducted I would have had to order over the phone.
So, I called.
If you think the website is not user friendly their phone system is worse. After choosing to wait on the line it asked if I wanted them to text me a help link to press 1, otherwise stay on the line. I stay on the line. Then he keeps asking me if this is the number I want the link sent to, until finally it says they will return me to my place in line.
When it finally connects me to someone it's dead air. I had to call back and go through the text crap again before getting anyone.
Now this person tells me I need the reference number for I where paid for the deposit because they don't show a record of it...even though it's listed on the proofs they mailed me right below my kid's name, session id and access id. Of course I don't have any email confirmation with that number because it was months ago and once he had his appointment done I didn't think it needed it.
All in all, their website is the worst (as someone who manages building websites, I know.), it's not user friendly, their customer service is even worse, prices are outrageous, and the pictures weren't even good.
The backgrounds with black tux./drapes are way too dark especially for dark hair and complexions. My sons hair literally disappears into the background, he's a floating face on a fake tux.
Company isn't a company if they have no customer service!
What a horrible company to work with. My daughter had senior photos taken here.
Then they proceeded to lose all record of the photos. There is no one to call. They say you can only get customer service by chatting online with people from a foreign country. There is no way to speak with anyone by phone so we can't get the photos that were taken months ago.
They actually asked us to describe the appearance of our child to find the photos!?!?! We gave them the photo session # and they can't find anything. What the *** kind of business is this? The school requires you use them so we had no choice but if you can avoid this company do so.
Otherwise you may be stuck without photos on being in a chat for 2 hours when it only took 30 minutes to take the picture. This company is the worst.
User's recommendation: Stay away from this business!
